Jeepney TV, the home of timeless and well-loved ABS-CBN shows, marks its 5th anniversary this October with the launch of a new image campaign, as well as exciting shows that bring back beloved scenes and cherished characters from television’s yesteryears.
Since October 2012, Jeepney TV has been Pinoy television reimagined, bridging Filipino viewers young and old, and celebrating the best of Pinoy pop culture by airing comedy classics like “Palibhasa Lalake” and “Goin’ Bulilit”; hit teleseryes such as “Pangako Sa’yo” and “Be Careful With My Heart;” and iconic programs like “Ryan Ryan Musikahan” and “Abangan Ang Susunod Na Kabanata.” It has also become the go-to channel for Asianovelas, when it brought back “Meteor Garden” to Filipino viewers in 2014 via an unprecedented tandem airing with ABS-CBN TV2. Since then, it has featured some of the most popular classic Asianovelas like “Boys Over Flowers” and “Winter Sonata” and even premiered more current dramas such as “Good Doctor”, “Cheomdamdong Alice” and “Twenty Again” on Philippine TV.
Jeepney TV has also produced its own programs — “B.T.S.,” “Biyaheng Retro” and a series of revival specials for “Ryan Ryan Musikahan” – with all three having been recognized for excellence by local award-giving bodies such as the Catholic Mass Media Awards, Gandingan Awards and the CommGuild Awards.
