A huge finale awaits fans of award-wining sitcom “Funny Ka, Pare Ko” as it heads off to the paradise island of Boracay this Sunday with Bigboy and family about to embark on a new chapter in their lives as entrepreneurs.
The finale will see Bigboy and Mr. Sing about to sign a contract to distribute “Bigboy’s Best Bottled Adobo” in Visayas, a big step for Bigboy (Bayani Agbayani), Karla (Karla Estrada), their family business, and the people who depend on it.
However, not everyone is excited for this big opportunity. Victor (Jobert Austria) invites Bigboy, Dong-Dong (Jayson Gainza) and the Komikeros to go island hopping but is actually out to sabotage the deal by making sure Bigboy doesn’t make it to the contract signing.
“Funny Ka, Pare Ko,” is CineMo’s first sitcom and has won Best Comedy Program at the 15th Gawad Tanglaw for Media Arts while its lead cast member Bayani Agbayani has won Best TV Actor in a Comedy Program at the 25th KBP Golden Dove Awards.
