Optimum star Claudine Barretto reacted to Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto as the next Claudine Barretto and Rico Yan of this generation.
On her latest interview with ABS-CBN News, she maintained her stand that Julia will outdo her contributions on Philippine showbiz.
“Ako, ayaw ko talaga. Ayaw ko na sila ‘yung next,” she said.
“Bilang pamangkin ko, I want na higitan pa niya ‘yun sana. Given the right projects lang, she’s doing very well. Magaling siyang umarte. Naniniwala ako na kaya niya. Kaya nila,” she added.
Claudine also said she wants Julia and Joshua to have their own identity and not be identified with any other love team.
On the other hand, the 38-year old actress assured to her fans about her comeback project.
She also shared her interest to work with her niece Julia Barretto, Arjo Atayde and the versatile actress Julia Montes.
