Ethel Booba, Bianca Gonzalez, Lourd de Veyra,and Agot Isidro are some of the Showbiz personalities who condemned the fake news dissemination in the country. In relation to Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson as a resource speaker on the Senate hearing for “fake news.”

However the 35-year old Duterte supporter insisted that she is a blogger and not a journalist. According to her, she has all the right to express her opinion without consulting anyone.
On the other hand, Ethel Booba and Bianca Gonzales expressed their thought on Twitter.
Ethel Booba: “Both journalist & blogger r means of communication. Once u release a news make sure it’s real & honest coz honesty is d best policy. Charot!”

Bianca agreed to officials who condemned the spread of “fake news.”

TV5 host Lourd De Veyra mocked Mocha Uson’s statement about her rights to express her opinions. Meanwhile, Aot jokingly tweeted that Senate must invite her to be the resource speaker.
Lourd de Veyra: “Ganun pala yun. Pag blogger hindi na kailangan ng side ng ibang tao kasi personal mong opinyon naman yun. Bakit pa nag hearing ang senado?”
Agot Isidro: “Itaas ang kamay ng totoong biktima ng #FakeNews… Not once, not twice… Gedemet. Bakit wala ako sa senate hearing? ”
