Direk Cathy reveals being impressed with Dingdong’s performance in “Seven Sundays.”
On the latest interview with PEP.ph with Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina during the press conference of her movie “Seven Sundays,” the box-office director revealed she initially did not want to work with Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
“Napapa ‘Oh My God!’ ako sa acting niya.
On the other hand, Direk Cathy also admitted that she became a fan of Dingdong after their shooting for “Seven Sundays.” The award-winning director commended the Kapuso actor’s performance and work ethics.
I love Dingdong from the first day he set foot on my set—up to now, in fact, I became a fan.
“Kasi no expectation ako, e.
“Pero noong umaarte na siya, sabi ko sa sarili ko, ‘Marunong pala ‘to’, then ang sumunod kong sinabi sa sarili ko, ‘Magaling pala ‘to’,” she added.
“I really appreciate Dingdong here, panuorin niyo siya rito. Lumevel! MY GOD!
I love Dingdong now! I’m a fan!” she ended.
