Former Kapamilya singer Carol Banawa is happy away from the limelight. She is currently studying Nursing in the US. She often shared her experiences as a student on her Instagram account.
On her latest post, she shared her excitement being assigned to the operating room.
“OR is definitely one of my top 3 choices! I was so giddy all day! My feet were killing me from standing and walking around the whole time but the stuff that I got to witness and observe was so worth it!” she wrote.
She also recounted the list of procedures she was able to witness in the OR during her shift.
“I saw a Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Gastric Sleeve, Panniculectomy and a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. I got to touch an actual piece of the stomach taken out and also the gallbladder with a huge stone inside. I got to see how everything looked on the inside,” she shared.
Carol ended her post being thankful for the amazing experience she had witnessed. “I felt like a kid in a toy store so excited and eager to see more! It was awesome! Thank you God for such an exciting and inspiring day!”
Aside from her studies, Carol is also busy as a mom to her beautiful daughter Chelsea.
