AlDub’s upcoming telemovie will celebrate their two milestones as a love team.
Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, famously known as AlDub will celebrate their two milestones as a love team through the upcoming “Eat Bulaga!” telemovie.
A short teaser was launched during the October 14 episode of “Eat Bulaga!”
On an exclusive interview of PEP.ph with Alden during the launch of his brand endorsement at Festival Mall in Alabang, the 25-year old actor talked about the project. “It’s gonna be an AlDub special. Parang anniversary ng lahat ng nangyaring events.”
The telemovie title “Love Is…” will be shown on October 21, the project is the celebration of the two milestones of AlDub love team. First event was happened on October 24, 2015 during the first face-to-face meet up of Alden and Maine at the Philippine Arena. The event was attended by 55, 000 AlDub fans.
The second milestone of AlDub took place on October 22, 2016. On that day, Alden and Maine’s characters in “Eat Bulaga‘s” “Kalyeserye” segment got “married” at the Shrine of Jesus, The Divine Word Church in Quezon City.
Alden considers “Love Is…” as the most challenging role for the both of them. “Upon doon sa mga nagawa naming projects ni Maine, this is gonna be one of the most challenging as a pair. So mas mahirap siya. It will be directed by Adolf Alix so we’re really looking forward to it,” he said.
“Action, heavy drama, expect that sa project na ito,” he hinted about the telemovie.
“Sa ngayon kasi, the management advised us to keep it confidential muna kasi we’re gonna do certain promos within the week to hype the project kasi it’s gonna be aired on Saturday, sa [October] 21 na,” he added.
