Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Maruno earns his first international acting nomination at the 45th International Emmys.
The committee noticed the exceptional acting performance of the 35-year old actor on his episode on the ABS-CBN’s longest running drama anthology, “Maalala Mo Kaya.”
Zanjoe is in the running for the Best Performance by an Actor award with other great actors Julio Andrade (Um Contra Todos, Brazil), Kennteh Branagh (Wallander, United Kingdom), and Kad Merad (Baron Noir, France).
The winners of the 45th International Emmy Awards will be announced on November 20 in New York.
Zanjoe acting nod followed the nomination of Kapamilya-co star Jodi Sta. Maria for her great acting performance in the 2015 remake of “Pangako Sa’yo” last 2016.
