  • Netizens shared disgust over Bato’s crying episode at the Senate.
  • Gen. Bato Dele Rosa wept again in Senate.
  • Netizens called out Bato for another Senate “drama”.

Netizens were irate over PNP Chief’s crying episode at the Senate.

On Tuesday, PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa attended the Senate hearing on Kian Delos Santos’ killing. During the hearing, Dela Rosa again broke down in tears after defending the police.

This is not the first time that Bato cried in Senate. On November last year, Bato also broke down because of his frustrations to clean his ranks.

Meanwhile, Bato’s latest crying episode didn’t sell to the netizens, as many of them shared outrage and disgust over PNP chief’s “drama”.

Many said it’s hypocritical for Bato to cry for his men who killed innocent youths. While other advised him to stop the drama and address the bad cops in PNP. But there were also those who defended Bato and his actions.

Here are netizens reactions to Batos’ crying episode at the Senate.

In a world and in the society that men should act tough, we are used to seeing men to act the toughest regardless of the situation.

In addition, one thing that everyone of us should also understand is that: everyone has the right to weep irrespective of his stance or what societal role a person has. There’s is nothing wrong to be weak.

However, with Bato, he could’ve toughen up a bit and just cry in silence so to avoid netizens spilling over their cold coffee on his head- as if it is not really good for men to cry. But there’s always a place for everything.
