Karen received online harassment from netizens who do not agree with her editorial on her radio show.
Kapamilya broadcast journalist Karen Davila has been the target of online bullying from netizens who do not agree with her comment on the BOC scandal.
Karen on Thursday has issued a strongly worded editorial on her radio show Pasada 630 saying persons mentioned by a star witness during a Senate hearing should voluntary appear or should be called on by the senate committee. She is referring to Paolo Duterte and Atty. Mans Carpio who were both mentioned by star witness Mark Taguba.
After her program, she even clarified her stand via a tweet saying everyone Filipino should be treated equal.
“Simple lang punto ko. Kung banggitin ka ng star witness sa senado…ipatatawag ka para magpaliwanag. Sana kahit sino pa #pantaypantay,” she tweeted.
That tweet wasn’t received well by the Duterte supporters who ganged-up on her. The vicious attacks were even heightened when Taguba issued a statement clearing the names of Paolo Duterte and Mans Carpio.
The vicious attacks were even heightened when Taguba issued a statement clearing the names of Paolo Duterte and Mans Carpio which Karen also tweeted.
Because of that, netizens supportive of the president and the first family were up in arms attacking Karen and her views. Many ridiculed Karen for her views saying she doesn’t deserve to be a journalist while others were just throwing ad hominems.
Here are what netizens have to say to Karen Davila and her previous commentary.
