The ‘Diamond Star’ has been inactive in showbiz for quite a long time now. However, she’s ready to restore her light in the industry. She received a lot of positive feedbacks from her recent appearance in ABS-CBN’s longest-running drama anthology,”Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode last September 23.
Maricel played the role of a loving mother who adopted a son (JC De Vera) and treated him as her own. It was 14 years ago since she was last seen in an “MMK” portrayal.
This just goes to show that Maricel’s versatility never faded despite her absence. Now, her fans and Filipino viewers await to see more of her back on screen!
On the other hand, local superstar Nora Aunor was expected to show up on the pilot telecast of GMA Network’s “The Lolas’ Beautiful Show,” a morning talkshow headlined by Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola, and Jose Manalo. She served as the first-ever guest of the JoWaPao.
Will this mark her TV comeback as a Kapuso?
Nora stayed in the United States for five years until 2010. Her daughter, actress Matet de Leon, confirmed that Nora will be having a grand showbiz comeback and the Noranians can’t wait for it.
