Marco shared that he’s excited for what’s yet to come in his career under a new management
23-year-old former “Luv U” star Marco Gumabao takes a leap in his showbiz career after being under the care of Star Magic for four years. He’s now officially signed with Viva Artists Agency in hope of having his big break.
Together with siblings Kat and Michelle Gumabao, who are also Viva talents, the three are indeed in the same family.
Marco’s contract with Star Magic expired last August 26 and he did not renew it anymore because of his wanting to explore.
“Dito sa Viva po, straight four years kaya hopefully Viva could help me in my career,” he shared to Inquirer.
It was Director Bobot Mortiz who first helped Marco during his starting days in the industry. He remained thankful for him and the management even as he part ways.
“Hindi naman po kasi nagma-manage si direk Bobot so napunta po ako sa Star Magic at very thankful naman po ako sa kanila sa mga tulong nila sa akin, siguro I wanted to do more.”
Marco revealed that at this point, he’s very open to whatever station Viva will assign for him to do projects with. He expressed his excitement towards the future of his career.
“Management and movie contract po ang pinirmahan ko sa Viva. Confident naman po ako na magiging okay ang working relationship namin with Viva,” he shared.
Marco was notable for his character in the now-defunct teen series “Luv U” where he got paired with “Goin Bulilit” alumni Miles Ocampo.
