Daring than ever, that’s how Kapuso star Kris Bernal is at this point of her showbiz career. Her topbilling afternoon drama series “Impostora” continues to grow in terms of ratings, almost going close to leading show “Ika-6 Na Utos.”
Kris expressed her excitement for the recently receiving an extension until January 2018 for her series due to positive feedback of viewers. She recognized the collective effort of everyone on the soap, including the cast and crew.
“Pero siyempre, hindi lang sa akin yun, yung bumubuo ng Impostora.
“Yung buong cast.
“Masarap din ang feeling kasi, ang tagal ko na sa showbiz, ten years na ko,” she shared.
Fears in the industry
The 28-year-old actress also talked about her worries that people might easily forget her whenever she’s not a part of any teleserye. She understands that this is how it is in showbiz and that she’s very thankful that even until now, her fans remained loyal to her.
“Ang hirap kasi, parang anytime mawala ako.
“Anytime makalimutan ka na.
“Kasi more than a year na since ginawa ko ang Little Nanay, ang tagal na, e.
“So feel ko, parang nakalimutan na ng mga tao na may Kris Bernal.”
Kris understands that this is how it is in showbiz and that she’s very thankful that even until now, her fans remained loyal to her.
“Ang sarap lang ng feeling na gusto pa rin nila ang show namin.
“May mga nanonood pa rin sa akin.
“May mga followers pa rin ako.”
Controversial FHM cover
We all can recall that Kris’ posing for the May 2017 cover of men’s magazine FHM became a hot topic on social media because of the actress’ bashers who shamed her skinny body.
Kris said that she already moved on from that issue and even joked that people prefer her on screen rather than on a magazine.
“Parang feel ko, mas may dating pa ang Impostora kesa sa nag-FHM ako,” she joked. “I guess, mas gusto talaga nila na nasa show ako at umaarte.”
