Kapuso young actress Joyce Ching showed interest in pursuing a career in film directing and scriptwriting

22-year-old Kapuso star Joyce Ching wants to get out of her box and explore more in the world of show business. She may be one of today’s most promising actress in her generation, Joyce is still interested in doing more.
Currently, the actress is pursuing a degree in Film at Meridien International School. Like Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla, Joyce also has a passion for writing stories. She would like to be like Bela someday, an artist who works on and behind the camera.
Meanwhile, Joyce is part of GMA Telebabad’s upcoming fantasy-drama soap “Super Ma’am,” which is headlined by the ‘Primetime Queen’ herself, Marian Rivera.
During its grand presscon earlier this week, Joyce answered a few questions regarding this sudden venture from acting.
Will she write her love story with “Mulawin versus Ravena” actor Kristoffer Martin? Joyce quickly answered yes.
“Gustung-gusto naman ng mga madla ang kahugutan, sige, ihuhugot natin,” she added.
Joyce shared that when she started studying Film, only then did she realized the hard work of the people behind a certain movie or TV project. She said that this increased her respect for the directors, writers, and staff of the shows she had been in.
“Nu’ng nag-start akong mag-aral ng Film, du’n ko naintindihan, at saka du’n ko na-appreciate ang ginagawa ng mga tao behind the camera.
“Akala ko kasi before, o mahirap mag-artista, umarte. Pero ‘yung kanya-kanyang work ng mga director, producer, writer, sobrang hirap din.”

Joyce stressed that she’s still occupied with work and studies so it could wait.
