The internet was both “shookt” and amused of the viral wedding in 2012, involving two gay men. One of the other is “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” season 2 finalist Paolo Antenorcruz, who was dubbed as ‘Cabin Crew-ner ng Parañaque.’
John Carasig, a Filipino-Australian singer, was the man who captured the heart of the TNT contestant. He formerly joined the MasterChef Australia Season 7 and became a popular celebrity there since then.
Paolo and John had their wedding ceremony last December 13, 2012 in the Philippines. People instantly followed their love story because both have interesting physical features and talents. They were even tagged before as “#RelationshipGoals.”
Their civil union was much publicized because of the video that went trending online. It gained a lot of buzz, both positive and negative, from Filipino netizens.
However, like some romantic stories that started from good but ended bad, Paolo and John’s marriage didn’t last longer. According to them, they faced challenges that lead their relationship to not work out anymore.
Their fans and supporters were saddened by the news of their split.
New love
Both Paolo and John, in their separate ways, look happy now. They each took a shot again in love, but this time, with different people.
Paolo is now in a relationship with a fellow cabin crew in Philippine Airlines. In fact, they celebrated their 4th last March.
Meanwhile, John’s boyfriend of four years and counting, continue to make him believe in second chances everyday.
