Archie proudly told press that he’s an original talent of the channel that’s why he feels, he “belong”
39-year-old popular TV personality Archie Alemania is once again home. A proud “original” Kapuso, Archie shared that he has officially left ABS-CBN in February after almost 13 years of stay.
The comedian started out with GMA Network but his big break happened under Kapamilya management. However, Archie told press that his Kapuso spirit never faded and that wherever he goes he’s thankful for all the opportunities.
“Kung saan man ako, happy naman ako and thankful, basta thankful ako kung saan mang network, ABS and TV5 and channel 7,” he said.
Archie formally returned to GMA Network 8 months ago. Since then, he started appearing in shows such as “GMA NewsTV,” “Wagas,” and “Karelasyon.”
“Siyempre kung original Kapuso ka, e di doon ka, where you belong!” Archie exclaimed, referencing to the viral joke of “It’s Showtime” host Vice Ganda regarding GMA talents.
Archie joined the Triple A family of manager Rams David. He’s now under the care of the same handlers of ‘Primetime Queen’ Marian Rivera and “Alyas Robinhood” actress Andrea Torres.
“Sabi ni Nanay Rams naghahanap siya ng magagandang roles, ayaw niya ng maliliit na roles for me.”
The comedian expressed his excitement for his upcoming projects with GMA Network. Archie is also looking forward to work with other Kapuso icons.
