The life story of Jake Zyrus had just been aired in MMK. While most netizens expressed their support towards the singer, his mother was not pleased at all.
Racquel Pempengco expressed her disagreement in an exclusive interview with Pep.PH. Aside from this, she also posted a lengthy Facebook post.
“Taas noo pa rin akong maglalakad..dahil alam ko sa sarili ko na wala akong ginagawang masama sa inyo,” said Racquel.
In the said episode, Jake claimed that his mother was abusive and controlling. The plot thickens as Jake’s grandmother claimed that everything shown in “MMK” is true.
Some netizens also expressed their concern in the family’s growing feud. Furthermore, Jake’s grandmother urged everyone to let the singer express his true self.
