- The Paul Salas and Daniel Padilla Twitter feud was one of the most talked about showbiz issues last week.
- In fact, some people say that despite the flak he received, Paul Salas benefited from the controversy.
Paul Salas used to be one of the most notable child actors in the industry. Back in 2005, he was awarded at the 31st Metro Manila Film Festival as the Best Child Performer. Paul has starred in teleseryes such as “Mulawin,” “Encantadia” and “Majika.” He also appeared in stage plays such as Lilo & Stitch and Sesame Street.
His career started when he became one of the 14 finalists of GMA’s reality talent show, Starstruck Kids. In 2008, Paul jumped ship to the Kapamilya network and has been under the StarMagic management since.
Despite his notable achievements and appearances as a child star, Paul hasn’t worked on any major project in the last five years. It’s mostly just a few appearances here and there, that’s about it.
Hence, some people would say that Paul’s Twitter feud with Daniel Padilla actually elevated his status. From being somehow irrelevant, Paul has suddenly become the talk of the town.
Come to think of it, the actor has been receiving more attention than ever. Could Paul possibly turn things around and use this as a stepping stone to redeem himself?
