With his official entry to the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) garnering praises all over social media, director Jason Paul Laxamana made sure that negative critics of his film, “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” are are dealt with – his way.
.Netizens are “#shookt” at Laxamana’s responses to those tweeting their criticisms about the film. The comments vary from being sarcastically snide to borderline grammar nazi.
With Laxamana’s Twitter purge, netizens are now ambivalent in watching “100 Tula.” Others already backed out and urged their friends to watch other PPP entry instead.
The director continues to stand tall amidst the backslash.
Written and directed by Laxamana, “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” tells the story of Fidel (JC Santos) and his unrequited love for Stella (Bela Padilla.) The plot of the film was said to root from Laxamana’s own experiences.
