Morissette Amon was quite the topic last week because of a viral video where a singer falls off the stage. As of August 26, the video has already garnered 1.2 million views on Facebook.
Stills from the video were also used to create memes by various Facebook pages.
In a recent tweet, Morissette Amon addressed the viral video. She denied that it was her in the video.
“by the way, 1 very final thing… ung may kumakalat po na video na may nahulog sa hagdan, HINDI PO AKO UN. sana okay lang un siya. 😕
She also called out the people who poked fun out of other people’s misery.
As difficult as it is to admit, we Filipinos have a knack for poking fun of other peoples’ misery. This is not the first time a video went viral because people find another person’s embarrassment funny.
The identity of the singer in the said video has yet to surface.
