Maricar brought back her role in previous series “Imortal” in its latest fantasy sequel
Maricar Reyes-Poon is officially back on the spotlight! She recently staged her much-awaited TV comeback in a fiery episode of ABS-CBN’s leading fantasy primetime series “La Luna Sangre (LLS).”
The Filipino audience were both surprised and amused by what they call ‘grand entrance’ of the 36-year-old actress. She’ has returned with her old character in LLS prequel “Imortal,” Samantha Imperial, a kind vampire who will help the Moonchasers fight the evil vampires led by Richard Gutierrez’s role.
Netizens were also fascinated by the “slow motion” scene of Maricar, saying it gave them goosebumps because they’re happy that she’s back.

While Maricar was on showbiz hiatus, she focused on her interest in baking. She’s the wife to Chinese Filipino singer-songwriter and TV personality Richard Poon.
