On August 11, McDonald’s Philippines introduced their newest branch located at Sta. Maria Bypass Road, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Eager customers waited early in line for the surprise guest of the fast-food chain. Little did they know, the surprise Maine is preparing for them as one of the mascots!
Phenomenal Kapuso star Maine Mendoza was joined by her siblings and wore costumes of McDonald’s popular characters, Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburglar.
All three, accompanied by Maine’s eldest sister Nicolette Ann and some staff, danced and made every one burst in laughter at the parking lot of the newly-opened store.
The said branch is owned by Maine’s family.
Present in the opening were avid AlDub fans and reports said that they were giving away candies and tickets to McDonald’s as support for their idol’s business venture.
Maine even served as one of the store’s cashiers and happily posed with fans for selfies.
However, she couldn’t stay long because of the overwhelming crowd.
‘Maine wall’
There’s a special corner in the store where photos of Maine and some artworks are displayed. Fans and customers can freely take photos as remembrance of their visit.
