Prior to the viral remark of TV comedian Atak that sparked online buzz this week, his co-host in “Sunday Pinasaya” Julie Anne San Jose speaks up.
Atak was caught up in a reportedly altered screenshots of what seemed like an Instagram direct messages conversation with some netizen. In the leaked photos, he was seen talking negatively about “Eat Bulaga” host Maine Mendoza.
His comment was, “Hindi likeable si Maine kumpara kay Julie maganda na talented pa.”
This remark was immediately denied by the comedian, saying that whoever wrote that wasn’t him because he’s in good terms with the EB host.
AlDub fans went wild about this issue and accused him of defaming their idol.
The involved party, Julie Anne San Jose, finally broke her silence about the controversial topic.
In her opinion, Atak couldn’t do something like that.
“I don’t think Atak would do petty stuff like that.
“I really don’t know what happened but, whatever happened, you know, like, it’s all good. It’s done.”
When asked if she has bad blood with Maine, Julie instantly denied it and revealed that she’s cool with her fellow Kapuso artist.
“I just keep everything professional and I try to maintain a healthy relationship with my co-artists as well.”
