The rising loveteam wants to take things slow.
Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto admitted that she allowed Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia to court her because she feels the same way.
During the press conference of their upcoming movie “Love You to the Stars and Back,” Joshua and Julia popularly known as JoshLia both got emotional when the press asked about the real score between them.
It was January when the young actor started to voice his true feelings for Julia.
This is why the press started wondering why they aren’t still in a relationship. To think, seven months of courting have already passed?
The former PBB All-in housemate expressed his fear of being rejected so he decided not to ask the young actress.
The 19-year-old kapamilya actress then said that there’s no reason to rush things between them.

“I’ll be honest nalang, siyempre pinayagan ko rin naman siyang manligaw dahil may gusto rin naman ako sakaniya,” Julia explained.
“Para hindi na po talaga humaba, yun po yun,” she added.
These statements made Joshua smile.
“Personally kasi, when you’re seeing somebody who’s special to you, you’re going throigh something like that. You’ll feel for him and whatever he feels, you started to feel,” Julia explained why they became being emotional.
“I am very protective of Joshua, so in any way I can help him, I’ll help him,” she further elaborated.
Although the two rising stars were not yet in a relationship, their body language and sweetness said it all.
Meanwhile the rising loveteam is set to invade the big screen with their second movie after the success of their Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Vince and Kath and James” last 2016.
“Love you to the Stars and Back” will be showing on August 30 in cinemas Nationwide directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
Julia shared that she’s very excited and she really feels overwhelmed in everything that is happening in her career right now.
“Very different kasi itong movie, ibang-iba itong movie na ginawa namin ni Direk,” she concluded.
