It is confirmed that the internationally acclaimed filmmaker Jun Lana will be directing “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” starring Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo and Angelica Panganiban.
The movie is said to be produced by Star Cinema and Quantum Films.
However, it is noticeable that the movie title is very similar with the soap opera “Ang Dalawang Ms. Real” shown in 2014 under GMA Network.
Lana was the Creative Director of the GMA program and this familiarity on his movie title caught the attention of some people on Instagram wherein the picture shown above was posted by one of Judy Ann’s fans.
Some showed their support and excitement for the upcoming film while there are some who complained about the director’s decision to use almost the same title for the movie.
Regardless, Lana’s film will probably be one of the most awaited films of the year since this also serves as the comeback project of Judy Ann Santos.
Santos last movie was an entry at Cinemalaya 2016 entitled, “Kusina”.
