- In a recent interview, Jolina was asked about her thoughts on GMA Network’s “Sunday Pinasaya”, which is “ASAP’s” counterpart.
In the world of showbiz, it is quite normal for celebrities to move from one network. Their reasons vary from career growth to changing preference. And most of time, artists are asked to compare the previous from the current network based on their experiences working for the two TV stations.
Kapamilya-turned-Kapuso-turned-Kapamilya star Jolina Magdangal was asked the same question in a recent interview. Since her move, Jolina has become a regular on ASAP, the Sunday noon time show being aired every Sunday.
Coincidentally, Jolina’s last show with the Kapuso network was “Sunday All Stars,” which was replaced by “Sunday Pinasaya.” The two shows share the same time-slot.
When asked to compare “ASAP” with “Sunday Pinasaya,” Jolina gave out a very insightful answer,
“May appeal ang Sunday PinaSaya, may appeal ang ASAP at saka kapag ako nag-a-ASAP, yung ASAP lang ang naiisip ko”, Jolina tells Pep.Ph. The singer also pointed out that what matters is that both programs showcase the talent of Filipinos.
Jolina also said that she is very happy with the quality of performances in “ASAP” every week.
Aside from “ASAP”, Jolina is also one of the hosts of the daily morning show, “Magandang Buhay”.
