- In a recent episode of ‘Magandang Buhay’, Jessy Mendiola couldn’t help but shed tears when she heard the touching messages of her mom and younger sister.
- Joanne Mendiola, Jessy’s mother, revealed that despite being nonchalant, Jesse is affected by all the negativity and would cry in her room whenever things were too tough for her to handle.
Since the beginning of her relationship with Luis Manzano, Kapamilya star Jessy Mendiola has been facing one controversy after the other. It’s already been over a year & the actress continues to receive negative comments from bashers.
Jessy, along with her younger sister Megan and mother Joanna recently made an appreance in an episode of ‘Magandang Buhay’.
Jessy’s younger sister, Megan became emotional when asked about her thoughts on all the flak her sister has been getting. “Kapag nasa TV ka, what they see is what they know, hindi ka nila kilala. So ano lang si Ate, mabait siya and sa totoo lang, very generous siya and simple lang ng tao. So kapag naba-bash siya or something, nakaka-hurt”, says Megan.
Jessy’s mother, Joanne also became teary-eyed when she revealed that Jessy would sometimes cry in her room because of all the bashing. As a mother, Joanna admitted that it’s difficult for her to see her daughter in so much pain. “Siyempre, nasasaktan ako. Kapag naba-bash siya, doon lang siya sa kuwarto niya, umiiyak siya. Ako, umiiyak na lang din ako, kasi nasasaktan ako. Di siya nag-o-open up. Tinitiis niya.”, Joanne shared.
Upon hearing these words, tears started to flow from Jesse’s eyes. Her family had been her greatest support and according to her, for as long as her family is by her side – everything will always be worth it.
