Kapuso star Heart Evangelista’s “My Korean Jagiya” will conquer the Philippine television beginning Monday, August 21.
Though the actress admitted being scared of pregnancy, or hospitals and needles, she decided after this teleserye, she will be leaving showbiz on 2018 until she already had a baby with husband Chiz Escudero.
Heart will play Guadalupe Immaculada Asuncion, Gia for short. Her leading men will be “Philippine TV’s Sweetheart, Alexander Lee as Kim Jun Ho and Mr. Pogi winner Edgar Allan Guzman as Ryan Alba.
Alexander was known to be a former member of the popular K-Pop group U-Kiss. They even performed in “Party Pilipinas,” “Walang Tulugan” of Kuya Germs and had a successful concert here in Manila.
Alexander will definitely make its viewers feel ‘kilig’ every night.
According to the show’s program manager, he was chosen to be the leading man because of he is fluent in English and the number of fans that he can cater.
Korean Dramas as well as Korean actors are in-demand in our country right now so this would be a great opportunity for GMA Network.
Alexander has already met the Kapuso actress back 2010, and admitted that he really admires Heart’s beauty.
“My Korean Jagiya” will also star David Kim, Michelle Ho, Jerry Lee, Janice de Belen, Ricky Davao, Iya Villania-Arellano, Valeen Montenegro and Jinri Park directed by Mark Reyes.
