- Heart Evangelista gets emotional for another blessing
- Heart toether with Korean star Alexander Lee will be topbilling upcoming Kapuso drama “My Korean Jagiya”
It was recently announced that Heart Evangelista will be leading another teleserye entitled ‘My Korean Jagiya’ with former U-kiss member Alexander Lee.
The Kapuso actress admitted that she felt really overwhelmed and grateful at the same time that GMA 7 is taking care of her career. Also, Heart shared that even though it was just the start of their taping, everyone in the set were very happy.
She really considers this new Kapuso show as “sobrang special” project.
“Actually nao-overwhelm ako kasi it’s such a nice project and it’s so nice to be given an opportunity. And because it’s not all the time na mabibigyan ka ng maraming pagkakataon sa buhay and being in showbiz is not easy,” she elaborated.
The 32-year-old actress also felt ecstatic that they were joined by a good man, her soon to be on-screen partner Alexander.
“Salamat sa GMA. Fighting!” she acclaimed.
Heart further explained that even though you get a well-deserved pay, it can sometimes get too emotionally draining. Especially when people judge you based on the limited facts they know about you.
“They don’t even know half of what you’re doing when the cameras are not rolling,” she said.
The Kapuso actress continued that it was a privilege to be given a show with international stars. She even has nothing to say about Alexander but a word of praise.
“He is a very nice guy, very conservative, very humble and shy. I wanted him to feel comfortable as much as possible,” she noted.
Aside from the Korean actor, Heart will also be working with her other leading man, Edgar Allan Guzman.
Heart then assures K-drama supporters that they will surely love this show. And according to her, the love story is just impeccable.
“Sa lahat ng mga hindi pa nakapunta sa Korea like me, sa lahat ng fan ng Koreanovela marami kayong mga familiar places na makikita,” she explained.
Meantime, it was then a double celebration for the actress since My Korean Jagiya is set to premiere on August 21 which is also her 19th anniversary in show business.
