A netizen exposed GMA Network’s alleged “tactic” on reaching a close margin with ABS-CBN’s Facebook audience
ABS-CBN has always been the leading competition of GMA Network in terms of social media reach. However, just today, Kapuso hit 15 million likes on their Facebook page, bringing them only 7,000 less of Kapamilya’s number.
Netizens are now starting to think that GMA will soon overtake ABS-CBN with this big step. Although some believe it’s too soon to conclude, some Kapuso fans are already assuming the spot.
A Facebook Page managed by Kapamilya fans exposed what they call “#GMANetworkMergePaMore,” a theory that explains how the network became close to ABS-CBN’s margin.
According to the page, GMA Network merged Facebook pages of their shows to their main site in order to gain more likes. He tags this as a “desperate move.”
People may call ABS-CBN biased in delivering news, however, they lead in the hearts of their audience. It’s evident in terms of social media feedback.
Despite Gonzaga’s comment, a lot are congratulating GMA Network for their milestone.
