Celebrities enjoy certain privileges or special treatment, so to speak. Although it is somehow a perk of being a public figure, in some cases, the said privilege can be seen unfair and improper.
Kapuso actress and singer Glaiza de Castro was accused of using her celebrity status to get ahead. According to some sources, the Kapuso star skipped the line when purchasing a ticket for a K-Pop Concert.
While hundreds of fans went as early as 4am to line up to get the first dibs on the best seats for the concert – Glaiza was said to have gotten tickets in just a matter of minutes.
In her defense, Glaiza took to Twitter her frustrations about the said incident. According to Glaiza, there was nothing wrong with asking another person to line up for her to get her tickets. It’s something everyone does.
Glaiza pointed out that there was nothing wrong because the person she asked to buy also waited patiently in line.
Glaiza said that she was seen there seemingly cutting the line but said that she just obliged to her fans requesting to take photos with her.
