Fans and Filipino audience are excited to see the next “Darna” on the big screen. Among them is Nanette Medved, a former actress who played the iconic role in 1991.
In an interview with CNN Philippines, Nanette was asked about her opinion towards Kapamilya’s top choice Liza Soberano on taking on the superhero role.
She simply told reporter Pinky Webb, “It’s a great opportunity to anyone who plays it.”
The 47-year-old award-winning actress is the founder of Generation Hope Inc. and Friends of Hope Inc. a social enterprise and foundation respectably aimed at building classrooms in the country. In fact, it won the Developmental Social Enterprise Awards this year.
Mars Ravelo’s movie remake will soon grace cinemas nationwide though most of the cast are yet to be confirmed and announced to the public. Nevertheless, people, even celebrities, are already talking about the much-anticipated Filipino superhero comeback.
