Elmo reacted on being caught between the Twitter war of Janella and mother Jenine Desiderio
“I’m trying to be a good influence to Janella.”
This is what Kapamilya actor Elmo Magalona can say to the bashers who kept blaming him for love team partner Janella Salvador’s Twitter war with her mother.
Last July, showbiz personality Jenine Desiderio, posted a tweet complaining about her daughter’s hardheadedness. This lead netizens to dragged Elmo’s name, being Janella’s on-screen partner as the reason behind their conflict.
This was immediately denied by Elmo. He even said that he’s just being there for Janella whenever she needs him.
“Whatever happens, I’m just there for her.”
Elmo added that he dismissed the negative comments about him on social media. He stressed that his focus is on his career and nothing else.
“But, at the end of the day, kapag binigyan mo sila ng pansin, yun ang gusto nila, e.
“I just keep focusing on myself because yun ang importante for me.”
As someone who’s dear to Janella’s heart, Elmo shared that he is in fact being a good influence to the young actress. He said that he can’t help but get affected on what his friend is going through right now.
“Siyempre pag naapektuhan si Janella, naaapektuhan din ako as her partner and as her love team. Sana matapos na ito.”
Change of love team partner?
Elmo told the press that he’s contented with his current love team partner. If the management ever try to split them up, he personally thinks it would waste all the time he and Janella shared together.
“Siyempre, sobrang dami na naming pinagsamahan, kung magtse-change uli, sayang yung pinaghirapan.
“As much as possible, ayoko, masaya ako sa love team.”
At the moment, ElNella is busy on their big screen project “My Fairy Tale Love Story” under Regal Films. Elmo speaks in behalf of their tandem and has expressed gratitude over their career’s direction.
“Of course, I’m so grateful for all the blessings na binibigay sa akin dito.
“I know that if I even do better, then more opportunities will come in the future.”
