Doris Bigornia was apparently offered the position of Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
In a press briefing in Malacanang last Monday, President Rodrigo Duterte revealed that he asked Kapamilya reporter Doris Bigornia to succeed Judy Taguiwalo as Secretary of DSWD. Bigornia, however, declined.
“I just offered it to Doris Bigornia, ayaw nya, totoo I’m not joking,” the president said.
Malacanang’s spokesman Ernie Abella meanwhile did not confirm nor deny the offer. Abella said whether if its true or not [the offer], Bigornia already declined.
Meanwhile, the news was received with mixed reactions by the netizens. Commenting on Mocha Uson’s Facebook post about the matter, netizens reacted sarcastically with many viciously attacking and mocking Doris. Others also took pot shot on Mocha.
