“Die Beautiful” leads winners of 35th Luna awards with five awards including Best Picture.

The Paolo Ballesteros-starrer took Best Picture trophy; Jun Robles Lana bagged Best Director Award.
MMFF 2016 official entry won five major awards in the recently concluded 35th Luna Awards under Film Academy of the Philippines. The awarding ceremony was held last August 26, 2016 at Resorts World Manila.
Aside from Best Picture and Best Director Trophy for Direk Jun Lana, Die Beautiful also bagged Best Supporting Actor for Christian Bables, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing.
In the Best Actress category, Hasmin Killip took home the trophy.
Bembol Roco defeated Paolo Ballesteros and other nominees for Best Actor.
