It’s been quite an eventful week for Aljur Abrenica. Apart from the warm Kapamilya welcome he has been receiving, his fiancee Kylie Padilla gave birth to their first born, Alas Joaquin.
Among Aljur and Kyle’s many well wishers is Kris Bernal, Aljur’s former love team during his early days as an actor. In a quick chat, Kris mentioned that she was the last to know about Aljur moving to the Kapamilya network.
According to her, she immediately texted Aljur to tell him that she’s very happy for him and that she prays for his well-being.
“Tinext ko nga siya nu’ng nanganak si Kylie. Sabi ko, happy ako sa lahat na nangyayari sa ‘yo and I’m praying for your success and sana itong bagong chapter sa buhay mo ay talagang fruitful.” Kris said during an interview.
Kris also shared that Aljur quickly replied to her text and thanked her.
It has been a while since Aljur and Kris worked together. To date, Aljur is regularly seen in Kapamilya teleserye “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”‘ while Kris is playing the lead in the Kapuso series, “Impostora” which has also been garnering positive reviews.
