Twitter Philippines showed the ten most used hashtags in the country for the whole year and #AlDub placed second
“#AlDub” landed at the second spot on Twitter Philippines’ ten most popular hashtags used for the whole year. They surpassed ABS-CBN’s leading love teams KathNiel and JaDine on the social media race.
AlDub fans were rejoicing on their success of placing their favorite tandem at the second spot on Twitter hashtags. They just started putting #AlDub on their posts two years ago but their efforts brought them far.
Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s powerful influence to netizens defeated that of Kapamilya’s. James Reid and Nadine Lustre’s #OTWOL only placed third on the list while #KathNiel landed on the fourth.
#PHElections took the top spot; number 5 is #EpilogueinManila; number 6 is #LawinPH; number 7 is #Haiyan; number 8 is #PapalVisitPH; number 9 is #MissUniverse2015; and lastly, number 10 belonged to #WalangPasok.
Meanwhile, the #AlDubEBTamangPanahon topped the 350 AlDub related hashtags since their rise to fame.
The “Eat Bulaga” hosts are currently working on their movie sequel to their 2016 flick “Imagine You And Me.”
