Although the two had started working on some projects separately, the two remain very close. Upon his arrival in Texas, Alden received a warm welcome from the Filipino press. When asked if he would let his leading lady Maine Mendoza work with other leading men, Alden gave a hesitant but resounding no.
“Parang as of the moment medyo, parang hindi po yata ako papayag. Opo parang hindi! Hindi po parang hindi po, hindi po talaga.”, Alden told the press.
The Pambansang Bae also said that it has only been two years the two have been working together. Alden believes that there are still a lot of projects they could explore and work on together.
