- There have been a lot of changes in as far as television is concerned. Back during the 90’s, teleserye stories would usually last for more than three to four years. But that’s no longer the case now.
- One season [composed of 60 episodes] would usually tell if a particular show had a strong following.
- Sometimes, even if the show is doing well in terms of TV ratings, the management still needs to cut it abruptly to give way to a new show.
- There have been talks that the Kapuso fantasy series, “Mulawin vs Ravena” will be ending soon this coming September.
- The Marian Rivera new series, “Super Ma’am’ [former working title was “The Good Teacher”] will be replacing “Mulawin vs Ravena.”
“Mulawin vs Ravena” fans might have something to be sad about. There have been reports that the Kapuso fantasy series will be ending soon. According to reports, the said fantasy series will be axed from the boobtube come the month of September.
While “Mulawin vs Ravena” sometimes may be doing a good fight against its rival show, ABS-CBN’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” on AGB Nielsen, however, it still it needs a little more push.
Premiered on May 22, 2017, TV viewers might be a little disappointed that “Mulawin vs Ravena” wouldn’t last the way the original “Mulawin” [composed of 166 episodes] series did thirteen years ago.
Considering that “Mulawin vs Ravena” is more advanced in terms of technology than the original version. The C.G.I. effects here are more seamless when compared to the old one. The presence of drone with cameras was also something new in the series. So things look more realistic than what they had before.
Even actor Dennis Trillo, who played Gabriel and was part of the original cast of “Mulawin,” says if he had a choice, he’d want “Mulawin vs Ravena” to last on TV for as long as eight months, just like what had happened to another GMA Network fantasy series, “Encantadia.”
Unfortunately, “Mulawin vs Ravena” fans might really have to bid goodbye to the fantasy world of the birds. But televiewers need not fret, because they might have to say hello to Marian Rivera’s character in “Super Ma’am.”
Yes, folks. Primetime Queen Marian Rivera will soon be making a teleserye comeback via “Super Ma’am” come the third quarter of this year.
This is Marian’s much awaited return from childbirth after doing some TV hosting. “Mulawin vs Ravena” fans will definitely be able to appreciate “Super Ma’am” as this will also have super powers and kids and those kids-at-heart will also be entertained.
