Marian Rivera happily announced that her waistline is now back to 19 inches. She said she gained weight after giving birth to Baby Zia in 2015. Her motivation has always been her desire to prove that despite being a mother, one can still afford to look good and take care of herself.
To be a mom had always been Marian’s dream as a child. Fulfilling that dream is her baby Zia.
“Natutuwa ako kasi gusto kong maging isang magandang ehemplo sa mga magiging nanay at takot maging isang ina na hindi dahilan ang pagkakaroon ng isang anak at asawa para hindi mo alagaan ang sarili mo,” Marian said in an interview during the of whitening beauty product which she endorses.
Despite of being fit again, Marian said she is now choosy with the kind of roles she accepts. She said she is done with sweet and sexy roles. “Siguro mas gusto ko na doon na lang ako sa mga projects na puwede akong panoorin ng anak ko,” says Marian.
Marian requested GMA network to give her projects that will showcase her versatility as an actress. While making her family as her top priority.
According to Marian, they shoot thrice a week for her upcoming TV series “Super Ma’am” but she and her husband Dingdong Dantes always make it a point to spend family time together.
When asked if she is afraid to get old, Marian said she is not pressured at all. She related, she is more focused on taking good care of Zia and husband Dingdong.
She welcomes aging but she does her best to look good and to feel good. “Darating tayo talaga sa pagkakataong magma-mature tayo, tatanda tayo. Pero ganyan ang buhay, we just have to accept things as they are. We can only do as much,” Marian said.
