Fans of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, collectively known as LizQuen, had something to be worried at these days. There have been talks that although Enrique Gil will be playing a part in the much-anticipated film, “Darna,” he’s not going to be Liza’s leading man.
This is contrary to the speculations of fans that it is indeed him who will be playing Liza’s love interest in her upcoming launching movie. Enrique has confirmed that he’ll be part of the said movie although who will be playing the leading man wasn’t announced yet as of this time. It’s basically only the fans who assumed that Quen will be the lucky guy.
Direk Erik Matti has yet to announce who will be Liza’s official leading man in the said film.
Daniel Padilla’s name came up in an article by Julie Bonifacio in Bandera and he is reportedly being considered for the role of Liza’s leading man in “Darna.” The actor is reportedly being groomed as a matinee idol and the ones handling his career feels they need to level up his career by pairing him up with other artists apart from reel and real love Kathryn Bernardo.
They believe it is high time for Daniel to be recognized for his own talent sans any love team partner.
Those behind Daniel’s career also think that if and when Daniel gets to have this break as Liza’s leading man, he would have his growth as an actor. KathNiel fans also had no reason to feel bad if and when Liza gets to be Daniel’s leading man in a movie because they can always see their favorite tandem on TV via the ABS-CBN’s hit fantasy drama, “La Luna Sangre.”
If and when Daniel is indeed Liza’s leading man in “Darna,” he will have a boost as far as his career is concerned.
It will also give KathNiel fans as well as LizQuen followers an antidote to the usual ‘sawa factor’ or that the fans might just get tired of seeing both love teams together in most of their projects.
Having a Liza-Daniel pair might just be something fresh to begin with. Liza and Daniel first worked together in “Must Be Love” and then “Got To Believe.”
