- Liza Soberano has confirmed that yes, she was invited to audition for a role in Hollywood last time but she was so busy doing the ABS-CBN teleserye, “Dolce Amore.”
- The upcoming “Darna” also believes that the said project might not be for her. Although she is open to do it when she’s given another opportunity.
Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano has confirmed in an interview by Pep.ph that she has indeed received an invitation to audition for a role in a Hollywood project last time.
But unfortunately, at the time she was then so busy doing the hit romance-drama TV series, “Dolce Amore.”
She doesn’t have any regrets for not being able to show up at the said Hollywood audition. “If it’s meant for me, it’s meant for me,” she says.
She feels blessed because she had never run out of projects to work on. Liza said she is still open for Hollywood projects if she’d only be given the chance to do so.
Soon to be donning the iconic “Darna” heroine costume, Liza said she’d want to do action-packed movies or suspense as these are the kind of movies that she hasn’t really done in the Philippines. If given the chance in the future to be able to work in Hollywood, she’d like to work with “Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot.
Well, Liza’s dream may not be far fetched after all. Who knows? She might just get another invitation to audition for a part in Hollywood. But for now, let’s all wait for her as she does her best in her portrayal of the Filipino icon, “Darna”.
