“Trops” star Joel Palencia caught himself in hot water after an alleged kissing photo scandal of his circulated the internet earlier this week. This lead netizens to bash the actor and his sexuality.
In the photos, Joel was seen kissing another man named Jhay Layam. These were followed by screenshots of online conversation between the two.
Filipino-British dancer-actor and Joel’s co-member in “That’s My Bae” Kim Last shared his reaction towards the issue of his fellow star.
“Kilala ko si Joe, hindi totoo yun,” he earlier said in an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
However, when a new series of scandalous photos leaked in social media, Kim changed his statement.
“Ewan ko sa kanila… hindi mapigilan ang ano nila. Ako, controlled ako.”
When asked if such turn of events will happen to him in the future, Kim assured his fans that it will never occur. Should he participate in a scandal, Kim said, it won’t be seen online.
