- Kapamilya stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, dubbed as KathNiel, are the new additions to the family of Cybersmile Ambassadors
One of today’s hottest teen superstars, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, joins various artists including international girl band Fifth Harmony, Hollywood stars Katie Cassidy and Krista Allen on being advocates of the Cybersmile foundation.
The Cybersmile Foundation is a multi award winning anti cyberbullying non-profit organization. Committed to tackling all forms of digital abuse and bullying online. It’s tagged as the worlds leading anti cyberbullying non-profit organization.
KathNiel, with their shared social media reach of 22 million, will help raise awareness among internet users around the world about the large impact of cyberbullying and digital abuse.
The two provided powerful statements during the recent PSA with Cybersmile on Stop Cyberbullying Day, encouraging their millions of followers on social media to follow the cause and make the world a more peaceful place for every one.
Daniel said, “No one has any right to disrespect others and be rude because you are not seen or can be anonymous on cyberspace. I would like people to be aware of the ill effects of cyberbullying and as an official Cybersmile ambassador, I hope that I would be able to raise awareness on this in my country.”
The 22-year-old ‘Teen King’ already proved that he has an influential image as a public figure in the country. Daniel is also the face of major brands such as Pepsi, Nescafé and Honda.
On the other hand, Kathryn, who’s 21, also caters to a large crowd. She’s tagged as the ‘Teen Queen’ to Daniel and vocally stands on the same ground with the foundation’s advocacy.
“My truth, my essence is what will define me, not anyone’s definition of who I am. I live each day to become more and hopefully I affect others around me to become more too. I am pleased to become a Cybersmile ambassador and be able to do more against cyberbullying.”
KathNiel along with fellow influencers around the world will team up to promote Cybersmile’s messages of inclusion, kindness and diversity online – without the need for personal threats, fear and abuse.
