Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla recently turned to his social media account to celebrate and share the good news that he’s just finished a course on Executive Education on Driving Excellence in Governance at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore.
It seems Jolo’s seriously interested in politics more than showbiz. We won’t be surprised if one day, he’d run for office as a senator, following the footsteps of his grandfather and father. Jolo said he’s able to learn a lot and he’s able to enjoy his course. He said they did eight hours of discussions and lectures as well as group works and recitations for three days.
He liked exposing himself in international issues like Asia’s Geopolitics, Good Governance and Public Service Delivery, Data Analytics and Water Management and Sustainability. He says he’s learned that many of the discussed topics are applicable to our provinces here as well as feasible in the entire country as well.
Equipped with new theories and learnings, Jolo prepares himself to put all the learnings he’s had into good use. He’s excited to impart what he has learned and put them into practice. Jolo also shared a quote by Singapore’s Founding Prime Minsiter Lee Kuan Yew: “If you want to reach your goals and dream, you cannot do it without discipline.”
In the end, Jolo congratulated the Vice Governors League of the Philippines and vowed to continue serving the people for the improvement of our nation.
