There seems to be a squabble between singer Jenine Desiderio and daughter Janella Salvador. Jenine recently turned to Twitter to express her anger and disappointment towards her daughter’s attitude.
According to Jenine, 19-year-old Janella had been disobeying her. Jenine wrote: “Napakahirap bang magpaalam? 2 simple basic rules, hindi masunod. Kasi ayaw sumunod. #nuknukanngtigasngulo #angtigasngloob.”
Jenine’s tweet started the heated argument between her and followers and fans of Janella and her rumored reel and real love interest, Elmo Magalona.
One netizen even questioned Jenine on why is she calling out her daughter publicly when the two of them can have a heart-to-heart talk with each other. Jenine answered that they can’t understand how she feels as a mother because they aren’t in her shoes.
Another netizen reacted that maybe Janella is doing some kind of rebellion against Jenine who might be too strict as a mother.
Jenine answered the said netizen with: “Being protective is instinctive with any mother. But if all your good intentions & protective efforts are prevented…”
She also added that she won’t be coming out in the open if she had no reason for doing so.
Jenine, a single mom who raised her daughter Janella [Janella’s dad was singer Juan Miguel Salvador] by herself also consecutively tweeted using the hashtags #paulitulit #gettingtoobigforyourskin when she wrote she’s fed up and when she wrote the words: “You’re on your own.”
As of the time being, Janella hasn’t made any reaction on her mother’s tweets. She has remained mum on the said issue.
But we do hope, since blood is thicker than water, whatever differences mother and daughter have will soon be ironed out.
