Director Joyce Bernal addressed the issue of “My Love from the Star’s” falling ratings in Kantar Media and AGB Nielsen.
During her interview with the press, direk Joyce stated that the rating game is not certainly her problem.
She said, “Dinedma na lang namin at bahala na si God. May vigil kami mamaya; actually, ganu’n naman ang kumpetisyon… ganu’n lang at wala namang problema.”
According to direk Joyce, she focuses on the story and the cast of “My Love from the Star”. She added that GMA-7 is the one that should be addressing the issue.
She claimed, “At saka problema na ng network ‘yung ratings, hindi ko siya talaga problema. Ang gusto ko lang, maayos ko ‘yung My Love From The Star, maayos ko si Gil (Cuerva), maayos ko si Jennylyn (Mercado), ‘yun lang.”
When asked if “My Love from the Star” got the chance to beat “La Luna Sangre” or My Dear Heart”, the director said, “Hindi? Hindi nga? Ano ba’ng ratings n’yo, baka ratings ng [ABS-CBN] (Kantar Media); kasi, ratings namin (AGB Nielsen), magkaiba kasi.”
Moreover, direk Joyce joked that her show’s ratings are like President Duterte’s ratings — ascending. Direk Joyce quipped, “Ratings kasi namin, kasabay ni Duterte.”
“My Love from the Star” has been suffering from low ratings aince the final week of “My Dear Heart”. That means, the show is losing in the ratings battle for almost three weeks, based on AGB Nielsen and Kantar Media.
