- In the said scene, Derrick as Almiro was all-wounded and was throbbing in pain until his wings eventually came out. He then spread his wings which also showcased the actor’s buffed body, showing his six packs and dashboard abs to the delight of his fans.
- Since Heart Evangelista’s character in “Mulawin vs Ravena” had been killed by Chynna Ortaleza’s character. It’s time for Derrick’s character Almiro to take the lead, now that he’s a full- fleged Mulawin.
If you guys are religiously watching the GMA Network fantasy series “Mulawin vs Ravena” on the Kapuso primetime block, then you’d know that it’s now actor Derrick Monasterio’s time to shine.
In this fantasy masterpiece, Kapuso actor Derrick Monasterio essays the role of Almiro, the son of Alwina [played by Heart Evangelista in this series but originally played by Angel Locsin] and Aguiluz [originally played by Richard Gutierrez]. It can be recalled that Alwina gave birth to a child destined to once again be the savior of their race and the human world.
In the recent episode of “Mulawin vs Ravena” Monasterio’s character Almiro was seen to have finally transformed into a Mulawin after he was beaten up and throbbing of pain. Spreading his wings for the first time.
All his memories as child came flashing back into his mind as he remembered how his mother Alwina tried her best to keep and protect him from all the evils by breaking his wings as a young child. But now, everything has come back to Almiro. His wings had grown back and so does his memories returned.
Almiro knows now who he is. He is a full fledged Mulawin. After Alwina’s character died from a battle with Reyna Rashana [Chynna Ortaleza], the Mulawin people now lies in Almiro’s hands. He must protect their race against all forces of evil.
Derrick’s character portrayed grit and bravura. In his shirtless transformation scene as Mulawin which showed his six pack abs, it was apparent that the actor had been maintaining his buffed body by going to the gym regularly.
With his character as Almiro who’s bound to continue the legacy that his mother Alwina had left, it will surely be a delight to see Derrick playing his part in protecting the entire Mulawin from the Ravenas. Truly, it is time for Derrick to showcase not only his dashboard abs but also showcase his acting prowess in the said fantaserye.
