The hit “La Luna Sangre” star Daniel Padilla dismissed rumors going around that he will be playing Liza Soberabo’s leading man in the upcoming movie remake of Mars Ravelo’s “Darna.”
In May, the much-anticipated replacement for Angel Locsin was announced to the public with no clue as to who will play Darna’s love interest.
Liza’s current on-screen partner Enrique Gil is at the top list of actors being considered for the said role. However, there’s still no confirmation yet.
On Daniel playing the part, LizQuen fans were reportedly alarmed by the news.
However, the “Teen King” immediately denied it, saying hectic schedule with their fantasy primetime series will not make it possible for him to do a movie.
“Hindi wala namang nabanggit na ganon sa akin. Ano lang ‘yun, ilusyon ng ibang tao. Ako don parang malabo naman na makita niyo ako bigla tsaka may La Luna Sangre ako, malabo yun.”
Liza’s manager Ogie Diaz also put a stop to the speculations through a Facebook post saying, “Not true po.”
