Is Kris Aquino planning to go back to ABS-CBN?
Well, based on the Instagram post of Queen of All Media, she wants to remain silent while negotiating with the Kapamilya network. Even her close friend, Boy Abunda, is as clueless as we are about her grand return on television.
During his interview with the press at The Eddys Award, where he received the Joe Quirino award, Boy did not confirm anything and stressed that he has no idea about Kris’ plans.
He said, “I don’t know. Kris is doing so well with her digital platform, on the way here, pinapanood ko ang The Kris List (digital show ni Kris na napapanood sa YouTube), napakaganda. I don’t know, I really don’t know.”
According to the King of Talk, everything is possible. He also believed that Kris could go back on television even if it’s not through the Kapamilya network.
“Everything is possible. Sa akin, for somebody as big and as talented as Kris, anything is possible,” he pointed out.
Asked if he wants to see Kris as a Kapamilya, Boy answered, “Kung ako ang masusunod, I’d like her to follow her heart. Only Kris knows what’s best for her. I will support what she does.”
He continued, “But I am not in a position where she should go. Alam ni Kris kung saan siya nararapat. And that girl knows what she deserves and how to get there. Huwag tayong magkunwari na nagdudunung-dunungan at mas marami pa tayong alam kesa sa kanya. That girl is brilliant.”
The “Tonight With Boy Abunda” host was also asked to share his thoughts about Kris’ inclusion in an international film. He said, “What you know is what I know.” Boy added, “I’m glad that she got the role. I can’t speak about it. I don’t know much about it. I am not in authority to speak about it in details. May mga konti akong alam pero hahayaan kong sila ang mag-anunsyo noon.”
For now, it seems like Kris is happy with her new venture. The actress recently launched her digital program titled “The Kris List”, which is currently on its 9th episode.
